Comments and updates on patient over past 2 months:

After 2 weeks:

My right knee is still painful and hot to the touch; however, it is no longer throbbing- I am very hopeful that I can avoid a replacement.

After 4 weeks:

I am happy to report that 90% of my knee(s) pain us gone, they seem to get better by the week. I am thinking about having another MRI in 2 more months to compare--if the chips are still in the joint I "may"
have them removed, but I am not going to rush that procedure. It may be psychological, l but I seem to feel better all over--I know it's still early for the full effect of the stem cells.

After 8 weeks:

I am better, my blood pressure has not changed--still high. My knees are much better, the only time they hurt (temporary) is when I run across the street to keep from getting hit by a car. About a month ago I nearly got bumped by a car driven by a young girl talking on her cell phone--I had a green light--she never slowed or saw me--I jumped backward to keep from being hit-- I couldn't have done that with my old knees.

In general I feel super

Letter to patient we put in touch with Dr. Hines:

Dear Mr. Brown,

Sorry to hear about your son, we hurt when our children hurt.

I had a damaged meniscus in my right knee 14 years ago, had the standard surgery here and the knee improved, but was never able to run without pain for a few days. When my left knee was injured just from walking the pain was twice as bad as it was with the right knee, the MRI revealed that the meniscus was severely damaged and there were small pieces of cartilage loose in the joint. Below the meniscus the MRI revealed that the bone was also deteriorating, my surgeon suggested cleaning the joint out via scope and if that didn't work a knee replacement which I did not want to do. I contacted Stem Cell 2, thought it was worth the trip, Dr. C. injected my right knee with stem cells once and my left knee twice. This procedure was done about 6 weeks ago--90-95% of the pain is gone, all of the swelling has diminished. I am going to request another MRI in 3-4 months (that's when the full effects of the stem cells will be evident)--it should be a change for the better.

I was more than impressed with the care I received in Thailand, as you may know Thailand has become the medical hub of the Far East and if your son does go for stem cells I can assure you that Paul Collier will do all to make his trip enjoyable, he is very efficient and knowledgeable. Dr. C is kind and very good with the placing of the cells and will spend a lot of time with each patient.

I am a Veterinarian and have done several Stem Cell transplantations in dogs with severe arthritis of the hip joints prior to my trip to Thailand, that is the reason I sought Stem Cell therapy for myself and finally decided on Thailand because they have been doing it for years.

Best of luck,

J.C. Hines, DVM
